       Forbidden Love

In a small town filled with untold stories, Omar worked as an architect—a quiet man who adored details and observed everything around him.

He never expected that Layla would enter his life and turn his world upside down.

Layla was married to a businessman who was always busy, caught between meetings and travels, leaving her with an emotional void that grew heavier by the day.

She met Omar by chance while looking for an architect to renovate her family’s old house.

From the very first meeting, an inexplicable attraction sparked between them—something that felt like nostalgia for a past they had never shared.

Every time they met, their conversations stretched for hours.

They shared ideas, laughed together, and spoke of dreams long postponed.

As days passed, admiration deepened into something more… something neither of them dared to name.

Omar tried to distance himself, but she was everywhere—in the details of his day, in the warmth of her voice, and in her unexpected messages, which seemed casual but carried meanings far beyond words.

As for Layla, she lived in constant turmoil, torn between her heart and her conscience.

She loved her husband, yet he did not give her the attention she craved.

Omar, on the other hand, offered her everything she had been missing for years… but he was not hers to have.

On a rainy day, Omar decided to face the truth. They met in a quiet café, far from prying eyes.

He looked at her for a long moment before speaking in a voice heavy with emotion:

"I have loved you more than I should, but we cannot betray ourselves.

I am not the kind of man who destroys a home, and you are not the kind of woman who cheats.

 Love alone is not enough."

She closed her eyes briefly, holding back her tears, then smiled sadly and whispered:

"Perhaps in another life, this love could have been complete."

They both stood up slowly, without a long farewell—just one last glance filled with everything left unsaid.

Then, they walked away… but their hearts remained there, in that café, between two chairs that no one sat in again.
