Friendship Then and Now: Has It Truly Changed?

Friendship Then and Now: A Difference in Feelings or Just Time?

Friendship has always been a precious gem in human life, but it has changed over time, both in form and in the ways people communicate.

So, how was friendship in the past, and how is it today?

In the past, friendships were built on daily meetings, long gatherings under the shade of trees, and unexpected visits that truly showed care.

Friends shared moments with their physical presence, and memories were engraved in their hearts rather than stored in phone galleries.

A promise was a promise, a word was a bond, and emotions were expressed face-to-face.

Today, friendships have become largely digital, with friends meeting through screens and exchanging messages instead of physical gatherings.

Feelings are often reduced to emojis, and memories are saved in "stories" rather than in personal diaries.

While technology has made communication easier, it has also made it more superficial and less warm at times.

But have friendships really changed, or is it us who have changed? In truth, real friendship still exists, but it requires genuine effort and attention to maintain.

Whether we belong to the past or present generation, true friendship remains one of the most beautiful aspects of life when built on love, honesty, and loyalty.
