Slow-Cooked Tender Beef Recipe
Ingredients:
500g beef chunks
2 tbsp olive oil
1 large onion, chopped
3 garlic cloves, minced
2 carrots, chopped
2 potatoes, chopped
2 cups beef broth
2 tbsp tomato paste
1 tsp paprika
Salt and black pepper (to taste)
1 tsp dried thyme
Bay leaves (optional)
Preparation:
1. Heat oil in a pot, brown the beef on all sides.
2. Add onion, garlic, and sauté for 3-5 minutes.
3. Add carrots, potatoes, and stir for 3 minutes.
4. Add tomato paste, paprika, salt, pepper, thyme, and bay leaves.
5. Pour in the broth, bring to a boil.
6. Reduce heat, cover, and simmer for 2 hours until the beef is tender.
7. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve with rice or bread.
Suggested Improvements:
Add soy sauce or balsamic vinegar for richness.
Use spices like cinnamon or cloves for depth
Include mushrooms for extra flavor.
