Roasted Chicken Wings or Thighs with Potatoes
A Delicious and Golden Recipe Worth Trying!
Ingredients:
8 pieces of chicken wings or thighs.
4 medium-sized potatoes, cut into slices or cubes.
2 tablespoons olive oil or vegetable oil.
2 teaspoons cumin.
1 teaspoon paprika.
1 teaspoon turmeric.
1 teaspoon salt (to taste).
1/2 teaspoon black pepper.
3 garlic cloves, minced.
Juice of half a lemon.
2 tablespoons yogurt (optional for added tenderness).
Fresh or dried thyme leaves (for garnish).
Preparation Method:
1. Prepare the Marinade:
In a large bowl, mix olive oil, cumin, paprika, turmeric, minced garlic, lemon juice, and yogurt (if used).
Add salt and black pepper and stir well until combined.
2. Marinate the Chicken:
Wash the chicken pieces thoroughly and pat them dry, then coat them with the marinade until fully covered.
For deeper flavor, let the chicken marinate for at least an hour (or overnight in the refrigerator).
3. Prepare the Potatoes:
Place the potato slices in a bowl, add 1 teaspoon of oil and a small amount of the marinade, and mix well to coat all the pieces.
4. Bake in the Oven:
Preheat the oven to 200°C (392°F).
Arrange the potatoes in a baking dish and place the marinated chicken pieces on top.
Cover the dish with aluminum foil and bake for 30 minutes.
Remove the foil and switch to broil mode for 10-15 minutes, or until the chicken and potatoes turn golden and crispy.
5. Serve:
Sprinkle some fresh thyme on top and serve hot with salad or fresh bread.
