Ingredients
For the Dough:
250 grams flour
50 grams melted butter
2 tablespoons orange blossom water
A pinch of salt
Water (as needed) to bind the dough

250 grams ground almonds
100 grams powdered sugar
2 tablespoons orange blossom water
A pinch of cinnamon (optional)
1 teaspoon butter

Preparation Steps
1. Preparing the Dough:
In a large bowl, mix the flour with a pinch of salt.
Add the melted butter and rub it into the flour until well combined.
Add the orange blossom water, then gradually add water until you get a soft and smooth dough.
Cover the dough with a cloth and let it rest for 30 minutes.
2. Preparing the Filling:
In a bowl, mix the ground almonds with powdered sugar, then add the orange blossom water and butter, stirring well until you get a thick paste.
If you like, add a pinch of cinnamon for extra flavor.
3. Shaping the Pastry:
Divide the dough into small balls and roll each ball out on a lightly floured surface until thin.
Place a small amount of the filling in the center of the dough in a cylindrical shape.
Fold the dough over the filling and seal the edges well, then shape it into a slight crescent to resemble a "gazelle horn."
4. Baking:
Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
Arrange the Kaab El Ghazal pastries on a baking sheet lightly greased with butter or lined with parchment paper.
Bake for 15-20 minutes or until lightly golden.
5. Decoration:
Once the pastries have cooled, sprinkle powdered sugar on top.
