- 2 cups (500 ml) heavy cream

- 1 cup (250 ml) milk

- 3/4 cup (150 g) sugar

- 1/2 cup (120 ml) caramel sauce

- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1. Prepare the Gelatin: In a small bowl, sprinkle the gelatin over the cold water and let it sit to bloom for about 5 minutes.

2. Prepare the Panna Cotta: In a saucepan over medium heat, combine the cream, milk, and sugar. Stir until the sugar is completely dissolved and the mixture is hot but not boiling. Remove from heat and stir in the caramel sauce and vanilla extract until well combined.

3. Add the Gelatin: Add the bloomed gelatin to the hot cream mixture and stir until completely dissolved.

4. Chill: Pour the mixture into individual molds or a large dish. Allow it to cool slightly before refrigerating for at least 4 hours or until set.

5.  Serve:  Before serving, you can garnish the caramel panna cotta with additional caramel sauce or fresh fruit, if desired.
