                             -Ingredients:

  • For the Filling:

    • 500 grams ground beef (or chicken or a mix)

    • 1 can of chopped tomatoes (400 grams)
    • 2 tablespoons tomato paste

    • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon (optional)
    • 1 cup chicken or beef broth

    • 8-10 taco shells (either soft tortillas or crispy ones)
    • 1 cup shredded cheese (such as cheddar or Mexican cheese blend)
    • 1 cup shredded lettuce
    • 1 cup diced tomatoes
    • 1/2 cup chopped red onion
    • 1/2 cup chopped fresh cilantro
    • Juice of 1 lime
    • 1 avocado, sliced (optional)
    • Lime wedges for serving (optional)
    • Hot sauce or salsa (optional)

                        -Preparation:

  1. Prepare the Filling:

    • In a large skillet over medium heat, heat a small amount of oil. Add the chopped onion and cook until translucent, about 5 minutes.
