Preparation of Sausages with Salad and Fresh Vegetables for a Family Occasion


                     -Ingredients:


     -For the Sausages:


1 kilogram of sausages (choose your preferred type, such as smoked or fresh sausages)

2 tablespoons of vegetable oil

1 teaspoon of paprika

1 teaspoon of garlic powder

1 teaspoon of onion powder

Salt and black pepper to taste


              -For the Salad:


4 cups of chopped lettuce

1 large tomato, diced

1 medium cucumber, sliced

1/2 red bell pepper, sliced

1/4 cup black olives (optional)

1/4 cup crumbled feta cheese (optional)


          -For the Salad Dressing:


3 tablespoons of olive oil

2 tablespoons of balsamic vinegar or lemon juice

1 teaspoon of honey

1 teaspoon of mustard

1 clove of garlic, minced

Salt and black pepper to taste


             -For the Fresh Vegetables:


2 medium carrots, sliced

1 zucchini, sliced

1 green bell pepper, sliced

1 tablespoon of olive oil

1/2 teaspoon of dried herbs (such as oregano or thyme)



              -Salt and black pepper to taste

          -Instructions:


1. Preparing the Sausages:

Heat the vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium heat.

Add the sausages to the skillet and cook, turning occasionally, until they are thoroughly cooked and golden brown and crispy on the outside.

Sprinkle paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper over the sausages during cooking for even flavor.

Once cooked, transfer the sausages to a serving platter and set aside.


2. Preparing the Salad:


In a large bowl, combine the lettuce, tomato, cucumber, red bell pepper, olives, and feta cheese.

In a small bowl, whisk together olive oil, balsamic vinegar or lemon juice, honey, mustard, minced garlic, salt, and black pepper.

Pour the dressing over the salad and toss well to coat all ingredients evenly.



3. Preparing the Fresh Vegetables:


Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.

Add the carrots, zucchini, and green bell pepper to the skillet and sauté for 5-7 minutes until tender but still crisp.

Sprinkle with dried herbs, salt, and black pepper, then toss well.


 4. Serving:


Arrange the sausages on a serving platter alongside the salad and fresh vegetables.

The dish can be served with toasted bread or rice, if desired.
