                Preparing Moroccan Baklava


Moroccan Baklava is a luxurious dessert made from thin layers of pastry filled with nuts and then soaked in honey to give it a rich and distinctive flavor. Preparing Moroccan Baklava requires precision and patience, but the result is well worth the effort.


           -Ingredients:


           -For the dough:

- 500 grams of white flour

- 1/4 teaspoon of salt

- 2 tablespoons of melted butter

- Cold water for kneading

- 1 teaspoon of ground cinnamon

          -Preparation Method:


       -Preparing the Dough:

1. In another bowl, mix the ground almonds with sugar and cinnamon.

2. Pour the melted butter over the baklava, ensuring all pieces are well coated.

3. Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F) and bake the tray for 30-40 minutes until the baklava becomes golden and crispy.

1. While the baklava is baking, heat the honey on low heat until it becomes warm.

2. Once the baklava has cooled slightly, pour the warm honey over it, ensuring all pieces are well covered.

3. Allow the baklava to absorb the honey completely, preferably leaving it for several hours or overnight for the best flavor.

1. Garnish the baklava with chopped nuts like almonds or pistachios.
