 To prepare a salad platter for eight people, consisting of carrots, potatoes, beets, lettuce, a variety of vegetables, with rice in the middle, you can follow these steps:



                  -Ingredients:


4 carrots, sliced or grated

4 medium-sized potatoes, cut into cubes and boiled

4 beets, boiled and cut into slices or cubes

1 large lettuce, chopped or whole leaves

2 cups of boiled white rice

Cucumber, green or red bell pepper, and tomatoes cut into small cubes

Black or green olives for garnish

2 tablespoons of olive oil

Juice of 1 lemon

Salt and pepper to taste

2 tablespoons of balsamic vinegar (optional)

Chopped parsley for garnish



             -Preparation:

        1. Prepare the vegetables:

Boil the potatoes in salted water until soft, then drain and let cool.

Boil the beets until tender, peel, and cut into pieces.

Slice or grate the carrots.

Cut the cucumber, bell pepper, and tomatoes into small cubes.

Wash the lettuce leaves and set them aside.


         2. Prepare the rice:

Boil the rice in salted water until cooked. Drain and let cool.


         3. Assemble the platter:

On a large serving plate, place the boiled rice in the center in a circular or pyramid shape.

Arrange the lettuce around the rice and place the chopped tomatoes and cucumbers on top.

Neatly arrange the grated carrots, potatoes, and beets around the rice on the sides of the plate.

Add slices of bell pepper along the edges of the plate as a finishing touch.

Garnish with olives and chopped parsley.


          4. Prepare the dressing:

In a small bowl, mix olive oil, lemon juice, salt, pepper, and balsamic vinegar.

Drizzle the dressing over the salad before serving.



                - Serving:

Serve the salad cold, with the dressing on the side or poured over the ingredients.
